Travel
Things to know to help plan your trip across the border:
For guests who choose to drive, there are three points of entry in the Tijuana area that can be used to cross into the United States. These points of entry are the San Ysidro Border Crossing (most popular), Otay Mesa Border Crossing, and Tecate Border Crossing. Border wait times can be monitored through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website, which can be accessed through a mobile device or desktop.

For expedited entry into the United States, guests enrolled in one of the three Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) can use the SENTRI lane when crossing the border. To use this lane, all members in the vehicle must have one of the TTP memberships, and the vehicle must be registered through the TTP account.
To learn more about the TTP programs and how to enroll, please visit the Official Trusted Traveler Program webpage.

Guests without a TTP membership can save time crossing the border if they have a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) document using the Ready Lane.
To find out if you have an eligible RDIF document and how to enroll, please visit the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection website, which can be accessed through a mobile device or desktop.

We recommend entering the standard border crossing line by 6 am for all other guests to minimize long wait times of 3 hours or longer.
